- AutoCAD has an express tool to draw the break line symbol, no big secret. Simply enter BREAKLINE or go to Express - Draw - Break-Line Symbol. You will enter the 2 points you want the break-line symbol to reach, and the third point you pick is where the jogged line will appear.

[/code] - I use a lisp routine I downloaded from Cadalyst.com from their 'Get the Code' section. It was in their April '04 selection and is called LSB.lsp. Very useful - it has 2 types of breaklines, a break for solid round rods and hollow tubes. It also has slides to select the type of break and to specify how many breaks you want in your breakline. I highly recommend it.

Breakline Express Tool Autocad For Mac Download
AutoCad for Mac, 2016, has automated the process for us, with the new Break-line Symbol command. I'll find the command here under the Tools menu, under Express Tools. The newest version, AutoCAD for Mac 2016, is a large step forward, including the addition of Express Tools and XREF mapping tools. This AutoCAD training course provides a thorough overview of these new features, as well as dimension and PDF enhancements, general application improvements, and changes to working with text, geometry, and lines. Additional tips available at Jonathan Landeros shows how to add the Express Tools to AutoCAD if you forgot to include them in the init.
